This is my interpretation of the magnificient Banksia Grandis (Giant Banksia) which is found North of Perth, Western Australia, to the extreme South West of the State. As I spend many hours in the bush, drawing and sketching, the smells, feel and essence come to me as I paint in my studio. This study is 90 x 90cm on 8m/m silk. Washing instructions are included. Nature in the Australian Bush is full of wonderful flowers especially in Spring. This is my version of a Bottle Brush found in the wild and cultivated in many gardens. I love this flower which has such magnificient blooms, enjoy this version I have painted and feel the healing power of nature.

The vibrancy of the parrots in the Australian bush always make me want to paint them this is my version of a small colorful parrot, the flash of colour as they fly through the trees or if you get close enough to see how the brilliant colours blend, nature is surely the greatest artist. Wonderful, colorful Crimson Rosellas. A bird of the Rainforests, is a joy to behold, bold colours and the wonderful blends of colour as only nature can do. The ever facinating Blue Wren which creates the flash of Blue nature, a happy cheerful little bird and it is a joy to see them in their natural state. This scarf or wallhanging has the Blue Wren at one end and the colours blend to shades of blue through the rest of the silk painting.

This Sea Turtle was painted after I had spent a day snorkling off the coast at Daintree in far Northern Queensland. A truly magical experience and while I was looking at the multitude of colourful fish and coral, a Sea Turtle swam past. I followed it but it was soon out of sight. I felt the healing given by being in the Tropical waters with fish, coral, glorious clear water and many other creatures of the deep. I trust you will also feel it from this interpretation I have done. It can be worn or hung on the wall as a hanging, painted on 8mm silk with the highest quality dyes, beaded on each end, please enjoy it as much as I did from painting it.

This is a fun interpredtion of the Tree Frog, a result of my holiday at Daintree National Park. I just loved the tropical greens, differnet shaped foliage found there and the coulors. The frog in Indian Mythology means cleansing, please enjoy this interpretation and feel its healing.

Common name Everlasting, Latin name Helipterum Compositae. These delicate little flowers flower profusely in the Murchison Area of Western Australia but are also found throughout the state. Cultivation of the land has seen big decreases in their numbers in the Wheatbelt Areas. I traveled to the Murchison Area of WA and saw carpets of pink white and yellow truly a sight to behold. Blooming in late July to early August in the North of the state (depending on the weather) This is my interpretation of the pink everlastings, please enjoy this image which can be painted on silk scarves, sarongs, wall hangings or paintings for the wall and cushion. The magnificent Red and Green Kangaroo Paw (anigosanthos Manglesie) grows to 2 ft., flowers red and green on stems up to 4 ft. A native of Western Australia it is found in the Bush around Perth in the spring and throughout the Southern parts of Western Australia. Now widely cultivated for home gardens it is a stunning sight to see. The brilliance of the colours contrasts with the Bush it grows in naturally, combined with Native Smoke Bush, the delicate Lechenalitia's vibrant blues and the golds of the native Wattle. This is a Bush collection I found a joy to paint. Please receive as much pleasure as I did painting it. Growing to a height of 40ft. with 12-15inch flower spikes, having very spiky leaves, growing inland and on the coast of Western Austraia Northand, south of Perth. I find this a very strong and dynamic study, which shows in the painting I have done. Absorbing the smells, sounds and colours of the bush is essential for me.
