Common name Everlasting, Latin name Helipterum Compositae. These delicate little flowers flower profusely in the Murchison Area of Western Australia but are also found throughout the state. Cultivation of the land has seen big decreases in their numbers in the Wheatbelt Areas. I traveled to the Murchison Area of WA and saw carpets of pink white and yellow truly a sight to behold. Blooming in late July to early August in the North of the state (depending on the weather) This is my interpretation of the pink everlastings, please enjoy this image which can be painted on silk scarves, sarongs, wall hangings or paintings for the wall and cushion.
